As an award-winning Costume Designer trained in making, Susan has an excellent understanding of the methods of garment construction, crucial in realising designs within realistic timeframes and budgets, whilst not compromising on quality and aesthetics. She prides herself on creating consistently beautiful and original costumes and fascinators.

Susan’s latest projects include Costume Designing a new Disney-Pixar cruise ship show in the Far East (opening Summer 2025); ‘Come Alive! The Greatest Showman circus spectacular (opening October 2024) and a VR/Immersive Elvis experience in London (opening March 2025).

Susan read English at Somerville College, Oxford University. She was then awarded the Edith Horseman Travelling Fellowship to explore costumes of the world. She subsequently gained a Distinction in her Postgraduate Certificate in Costume Design at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts. She won the Peroni Nasturo Azzurro Accademia del Film Award for best Costume Design.

She has over 20 years' experience designing for film, television, theatre, stadium shows and high-end immersive events.
